Basically, give me a topic. I will talk about it for approximately five minutes, idk, or however long I can ramble. And record and upload it as a sound file!
Aaaaand a book meme.
1. Favourite Book?
The thief of Always by Clive Barker. I think now I have a lot more that's almost reach here, but it's the only one that shines as my favorite.
2. Favourite Author?
Shit.
Uhm...Francesca Lia Block, Neil Gaiman, Stephen King (And he count yet? I've read like...5% of his stuff?), Dianne Wynn-Jones, I have a love/hate thing going on with Scott Westerfeld, Libba Bray's pretty good end of AGATB not withstanding, Jk Rowling also, not withstanding the ending. Manga wise, Ai Yazawa, Kishimoto, Clamp (Althought Clamp is a lot more art and story creating then the actual WRITING per see), and...I should stop now.
3. Favourite Genre?
Fantasy, obviously, though not exclusively. Particularly urban fantasy.
4. Favourite series of books?
Hmmm. Harry Potter, the Howl + Sophie series which I don't think has a cohesive name, AGATB, maybe Special but...shit I don't do well with the endings of series, do I? Weetzie Bat~!
5. Favourite Illustrator?
Clamp, Clive Barker. I read less illustrated books then I'd like.
6. Favourite book from when you were little?
Runaway bunny, Never tease a weasel, uhm....a lot XD. And Thief of Always, since I read that first in like 2nd grade I think.
7. Favourite Heroes?
Hmmm. Sophie Hatter (Howl's moving castle, etc), Valiant (Valiant), Gemma Ward (AGATB), Tally (Uglies) although that may be more me wanting to hug her as she gets EPICLY FUCKED. Does Beaver count as a hero? Oh, and Gard in Tommyknockers, even though he's sorta an ass. And Shadow and Tristan, and just about everyone in Neverwhere. Azrifail and Crowley, duh.
8. Favourite Villains?
Mr Grey-Dreamcatcher
Mr. Wednesday? Does he count really?
Uhm shit...I feel like I'm forgetting something, but a lot of the villans in my favorite are more...forces then character, or the "Character" part is only in a little bit...
9. Favourite couples?
Not in any order:
Howl and Sophie, Gemma and everyone, no IDK, uhm, Azripheal and Crowley, Sirius and Remus, Paul and Rafe....
5 Lasts
1. Last book you bought?
The Shining
2. Last book you were given?
...I have no clue. Dreamcatcher? It seems like it should be sense then.
3. Last book you pre-ordered?
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
4. Last book you loved?
American Gods
5. Last book you hated?
Huh. IDK? The end of Specials, probably.
3 dos
1.Do you read part of your current book every day?
Lately, when I'm in school (Oh fuck I need to get back to class‚
2. Do you stick to one genre of books or do you jump around?
Generally I saty close to the same, but I don't rule out much.
3. Do you review all the books you read on LJ?
Nah. I mean to but uh...it doesn't happen.
2 Whats
1. What books do you plan on reading?
Anazi boys, Fragile things, M is for Magic all by Neil Gaiman, The Shining, Nightmares and Dreamscapes by King, and Extras by Scott Westerfeld, and that's got me far enough out.
2. What do you look for in a book?
To start, a cover that doesn't scream "THIS BOOK IS FOR TRENDY TEENS" or "THIS BOOK IS STUCK IN 80'S FANTASY", and something interesting in the subject. Really, I generally don't read things by new authors unless I've heard good things about them.
In the actual book, good writing (duh), good characters (If I don't like the people, I generally don't give a shit), and a strong plot that keeps moving, or if it tangents, tangents in trestingly. Also, good ending help a shit load.
1 If
1. If you were stuck on a desert island and could only take one book with you, which book would you choose?
Shit. I don't generally reread stuff, so something epic. Maybe the stand, full edition cause I'm gonna tackle it at some point, and by the time i get to the end, I could restart and have forgotten XD

Pffft. I kind of ship everyone in that book too. Well, the main four girls in any combination, really. Although Felicity/Pippa is my favourite. |3
