If it helps, I'd compare Nyu to Chi from Chobits. It's like dealing with a child. Lucy is the "weapon" side of her. And the only times she comes out in the series is when she is threatened with violence. And then Lucy takes over and breaks people's legs off...and twists heads...lots of blood.

As for Nana, she's from the same science place thing that creates these weapons and they send Nana to kill Lucy. And she's younger, cute, and also has murder on the mind.
