See, part of what I love in Supernatural is the nod to other things. Nothing is new under the sun, and I think all the ideas in Supernatural are used as originally as to be expected, and sometimes more then expected, and putting a character in a trench coat as a nod to a comic book is something I think is pretty awesome.
