I have to do a portrait, and preferably one of someone I don't know...but I also don't wanna use someone elses photo. And I sorta want it to BE someone (Like a celebrity, not just some random interesting stock photo off DA) but I don't really know who. Lady Gaga has interesting, but is also greatly, GREATLY overdone. And anyone else I can think of who has interesting isn't someone I care about enough to pour hours of energy into (Like, Gemma Ward or something)

But my painting class seems pretty cool except for being back in a level 1 class (oh god please let me never do a value strip ever again).

And I found out Sandy, the teacher from last semester who almost killed my desire to want to be an artist is "gone" for a year.

But I still have no idea what I want to focus on this semester. At all. I don't wanna continue with the body image art. And my original focus seems too cliched. GAH IDK.

I also am going to freeze my ass off going home. It's summer. I didn't bring a hoodie. I also was not thinking about the fact that I'd be driving home in the dark. The scooters always about 30 degrees colder then the air.

OK, I'm gonna go grab some foods, and possibly go belly dance.

Why not? He's famous and popular, but only in a niche, and he's very visually distinctive. And sexy. And funny.

I don't like the way he looks. He look unclean. And like a Captain Sparrow knock off. (And also linked undesirably in my mind with Katy Perry who I sorta loathe)

Also, by visually interesting I mean like....drag queen visually interesting (Like Lady Gaga). Over the top hair, makeup, etc.

Normally I tend to ignore whatever pop princess is big (I may dig a song or two) but she is so over overwhelmingly obnoxious it's hard to ignore.

1970's David Bowie while he is done up as his Ziggy Stardust character. Colorful, interesting gender-bending outfits, and Bowie isn't exactly a typical beauty/handsome fellow. Very angular and exaggerated physical features.

Also not expected and retro. Automatically cooler than anything modern...as they were the trend setters.
