My name is Terra Lowansa Hanson. I'm a 24 year old college student that forgets my age quite often. I got to Denver Metro State College, as a Fine Art Drawing major, with plans to continue to my masters at CU. The end plans is to be a college art professor. And I already dress like one.

I also plan to make comics. I already do make comics with wasterbytime and lj user=briteskies> as part of Studio Fae X</>. We sell art, and comics, and chibwees at comic conventions.

I'm a big geek. I was raised a geeks, on Star Trek and X-files and Pierce Anthony and Anne Mcaffery novels. I went to my first Sci-Fi convention (Starfest, or Starcon, which was just Starfest in August) in....god, like...1993? When the commercials for Sailor Moon started showing, I feel in love, and that started me on my own brand of geeks. Watching Sailor Moon spread to other anime, comics, conventions, and also got me started as an artist.

We lived in California, in the desert till I was 4 or 5, then moved to Denver cause the air sucks in California and my mom couldn't breath. I was teased a lot as a kid. I was chubby, and I had curly, blond hair that was usually a mess. After my parents divorced, we moved to Aurora and I found a group I fit in at least a bit better with.

It wasn't until High School really that I figured myself out. I meet Bev (wastedbytime), and found a group of geek friend, and the art kids, and the drama kids, and generally felt....mostly ok being myself. And it just got better from there, pretty much. Me and Alex meet online and became super BFFS, and helped each other a lot through school.

Towards the end of college I meet Ju, who was just a baby at the time, and we became good friends. I went to UNC to be a drama major, and learned I generally hate most drama kids. I dropped out (At the exact same time as my roommate) and went to Massage Therapy school. Loved it, graduated, got a job as a Massage therapist with an AWFUL boss. Went back to school, and I have been at Metro ever since.

Me and Ju and Bev all started dating, and I meet many wonderful friends, and got fae X going and good things generally have happened, with some bad, and just...life. But that's hopefully a good start.
