...WTF Clamp_rants. Replies frozen on my comment is just tacky. There was nothing like...flamy going on, just a long conversation...

If they closed it that's stupid, you can't have a rant community with out disagreements. If the original poster closed it, you shouldn't post to a community if you don't want like...discussion going on in your comments.

Eh, someone e-mailed me with a place to look into information, but still.

It bothers me how...yeah, it's a very interesting theory, it'd be something that'd be interesting for Clamp to explore. Just like in Harry Potter, it's an interesting theory that Snape's a good guy. It has a lot of back up. But the other hypothesis isn't stupid and wrong at this point, it's just different. And until canon tells us differently, both are just as valid. Mine has just as much proof as theirs.(I say mine loosely, because even though it's pretty obvious to me, I haven't invested a lot of thought into it either way)

It bothers me a lot how it's treated like you're an idiot if it isn't painfully obvious to you.

I really can't believe that people were claiming Fuuma is the same person through the whole thing. Really, really can't. I wish it hadn't been frozen so I could go "Hi, bitches, Fuuma has blackouts before Kamui makes his choice, he's definitely not the same person in some way."

Heck, were I a bit wankier I'd join the comm and make a rant that says just that.

It's not even necessarily...like I dunno if I'd want the story to go that way, because it'd make me dislike Fuuma a lot more, and I always liked the way things were A LOT, but I can see it. But it's NOT canon, and not even the most obviouse intrepretation from canon. They don't need to go treating people who don't see it as flaming idiots.

Hi, you don't know me, but I saw the replies you posted on "clamp rants" and personally, I thought you made very good points. But I thought I should let you know that the reason why your comments were frozen is probably because you started posting with people who are a "clique" \ You will often find them posting in the same places and praising one another like demigods. I know this because I've seen it several times and had the utter misfortune to speak with them. The same names, the same opinion, the same pathetic praises to one another... I won't say who they are, seeing as this entry is public, but given the circumstances to your posts, I'm sure you can figure it out on your own. So if in the future, you share a different opinion and post it there, you will most likely be told why your wrong and then have it come off as just sharing their opinion and not forcing anything on you. Also, if you manage to make valid points regarding something in 'clamp rants' and the person your discussing with is a bit contradicting and dumbstruck, you'll find one of their "cliques" come to the rescue. So all in all, It's nothing bad you said ;)

I had no doubts there was anything wrong with what I said. I know the difference between flaming and debate.

It's really sad, you're the second to contact me about it out of the community...it's incredibly sad when people feel like they can't speak up in a community. Especially one that can offer so much. Ah well.

I'm actually friends with some BNF's in the fandom, so I was hoping the rumors weren't true...I was actually having a lot of fun in the debate, and thought everyone was poliet. It's too bad.

Indeed. And from what I gathered by your comments, I didn't see you using exclamations or caps lock. You were quite respectable, so it's stupid that they froze your comments and didn't give you a reason.

It is sad. But there isn't anything one can do. I occasionally venture on the community and look at what people post there. I won't comment on it, nor will I join. I'm just curious on what other people think and what their opinion is, but given past circumstances, unless you share the same opinion as certain people, you will get a praise and one of these ---> ♥ \ Otherwise, you will get a subtle remark hinting how your not seeing things clearly or questioning if you've bothered to read whatever series you commented on. For instance, I won't say which, but there was a recent entry regarding something I said somewhere else. I was having a discussion with that person, but I guess said person felt the need to bitch about it in the 'clamp rants' community and put words in my mouth that I didn't say. Such actions are childish I think. So I prefer to keep my opinion to myself from now on :)

Oh yes. They can be very polite, just as they can be idiotic. But don't take my word on it. That's just my experience talking \ Good luck with the comments thing though! :)

Yeah, I thought it was interesting how my "I don't want to bother to reread everything" somehow became "If you haven't read X you shouldn't comment..." It wouldn't have bugged me so much if it didn't refrence the girl they'd ripped into before...

Oh well. It sucks, but I don't have enough clout to fight it.
