OH MY GOD.

I hate that phrase SO much.

Seriously if you have to talk to me about something and it's not like "I'm about to crush all your hopes and dreams" you should like...not use that term. Or immediately follow it with "It's not big, it's about X"

If you are about to crush all my hopes and dreams well...

shit.

WOOOOOORD. ;___;

My boss says that to me ALL THE TIME, and I have finally after a year and a half of throat-shutting heart-pounding panic attacks learned to translate "when K says it, it means 'there's a new rush job to be scheduled this week,' not 'you have screwed up big time and are about to be demoted or fired or I am about to lay some other doom on your head for which you are expected to take full personal blame,' which is how everybody else in my life uses the phrase. I don't think she quite knows how it reads to the English-speaking world, or else she wouldn't give us as many heart attacks as she does, but. er. yeah. Woooooord.
