We won honorable mention in the art show. I'm not sure for what (Or just for...everything as a whole?) but was cool. We made about $160, though I think we might have made more if we'd just set them out at Lisa's table. Maybe not thought, we only sold one print there.

I got a $85 corset for $25, and Bev and Ju got free ones> mine is red on one sides, and like...grey ish green on the other (Lisa's are all fully reversible)

AND I SAW A SCENE FROM 9 \o/ It was awesome and intense, and we were the first people to see it. (If you haven't seen the 9 preview watch it now)

We decided, if 9 is good, we're gonna try to do those costumes for the costume contest (No one has any particular costume picked out, sans Ju who wants the one eyes one)

Speaking of costumes, my AX line up has moved, as I think our Akatsuki robes will be done by then. So now it's:

Naruto, Kotetsu, Pirate!Tsunade, and....Pirate!(?)Madara/Tobi (Me and Ju decided to do Tobi and Zetsu, and pass Itachi and Kisame over to Sarah and Bev) Annnnd IDK when I'm going to do my Tsunade costume.(Holli is taking some really nice picture of me in it. Even though I realize I'm not pleased with the new coat)

This is the first I've seen anything of this 9 movie, but it looks pretty amazing, so I'll plop down my ten bucks for it.

Also, congrats on the con money take-in. Every little bit helps.

PS - you should take a picture of the award for the Artist's thing. I want to list stuff like that as credentials on our eventual group resume and website!

Me and Ju kept THAT money, and we're leaving all our Anime Wasabi money in the account until we can at least buy all our supplies for AX. I figured since a lot of what were buying for AX is prints, that was fair.

Hey let me know which days you're going to be here. I may not be able to go during the week. If I miss even one day of trig class this summer, I'm screwed. Sucks b/c now I have rearrange all my summer plans. :-(

We'll be at the con all four days, so the weekend two, and at least one other weekend outside of the con.

ALSO! maybe not this con, but if you do the Tsunade pics with me, and maybe we could do some other costumes or I could hook you up with some cosplayers there, and like...cosplay photography could be a niche you could get into when you go pro (People will pay. probably not enough to be your entire base, but I somehow doubt you're gonna have any issues finding other clients too)) But I could help point you to where to advert, and you're geeky enough to make the photo authentic, but not so much to get pulled in or anything.

Yeah that sounds great! We'll work something out for that. Looks like I should be able to make it that weekend. It's 4th of July so we better celebrate!
