So I've been like...intensely studying the Valley of the End fight for Alex's doujinshi. Rain on face and...other substances on faces in black and white manga look super similar. Just saying

Me: Nothing will convince me he wasn't about to say "I love you"
Ju:....oh. Well. Maybe he was going to say like "You're gay."

God, I know. That scene, it just makes me fall still. Literally after I read that page it stayed as my wallpaper for a year, until the spread with Itachi thumping Sasuke's forehead came out and replaced it.

I know there is a lack of canon-gay in Naruto, but man does Kishimoto lay it on thick...throughout the series with tons of his male characters. I wonder if there is a cultural difference in the relationships of young boys in Japan to those in our country. Like people jokingly refer to this kind of closeness as a "bromance", but I'm wondering if that is why so much gay just radiates off the Naruto males.
