Writer's Block: Legend has it ...

[Error: unknown template qotd]

So. Like a billion.

I enjoy Mothman, just because it's SO wtf and also so...like the explanation available might not be the right one, but their are facts involved that just don't make sense else wise.

But the be all end all of OMG WTF IS THAT FUCKING SHIT has t be Skinwalker Ranch. That wiki is about a forth of the length it use to be, and still at 4 times longer didn't give this place the credit ti deserved. If you can get the book about it it is...mindblowing freaky shit. And I enjoy the book because it's not like "Clearly this is aliens", they never settle on what it is, and rule out everything they can think of.

Skinwalker Ranch also makes me think of Area 51, near where I live. I'm not saying I totally believe in it but some weird stuff goes on there. And the fact it's SO HEAVILY GUARDED. What the hell do they really need to hide?

Mothman reminds me of Watchmen. Dx -nerd-

(visiting from the Writer's Block answers)

I read the book that's been published about Skinwalker Ranch...the story about the scientists, one with special goggles (viewing in another spectrum) seeing something ENTER THROUGH A HOLE IN THE SKY and freaking out while the other couldn't see anything...yeah. That creeped me out. That and the first story about the big dog/wolf.

The story about the like...trailer with the giant dude just sitting in there watching the wife when she stayed home alone...I think that one got to me the most. I was just like "Fuck that noise." I could not have stayed in that house after that, holy cow.

[identity profile] asathena.livejournal.com 2010-03-14 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
Don't fully recall that story.

Wait, wait, so a gal's home alone in her trailer, and there's a giant dude (that she can see?)...watching her outside?

:C

STILL, yes. GUYS MOVE TO A CITY OR SOMETHING!

[identity profile] penguinfaery.livejournal.com 2010-03-14 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
It was the family wife, and the kids were gone spending the night, and the husband was off on Business, and she was in the house alone. She looked outside and she descibed it as like one of those 50's stremline silver shiny trailed type thing, with a big window in the side.

And there was a dark figure who looked like if he stood up he'd be like 10 feet tall, sitting at a desk in it, staring at her.

AND SOME HOW SHE MANAGED TO STAY THE NIGHT THERE. OK, so I wouldn't really wanna leave the house to go past that and out either but oh jesus

Yeah. WTF. MOVE.

[identity profile] asathena.livejournal.com 2010-03-14 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
Hogosh that's even scarier than I imagined. (Something about the fact that the figure *would have been* 10 feet tall IF HE'D STOOD UP INSTEAD OF JUST STARING AT HER)

Oh gosh why do I decide to read this stuff when I'm home alone?

[identity profile] penguinfaery.livejournal.com 2010-03-15 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
XD because that's the best time to read it?

[identity profile] galenhiril.livejournal.com 2010-03-14 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you HAVE the book about Skinwalker Ranch? If so, you should hook a sistah up, yo!

P.S. Sorry I am a slow ass. But here are some Desmond/Sirius icons for you. Finally. (there are more on the next page, also) Lemme know if you want some more :3

[identity profile] penguinfaery.livejournal.com 2010-03-15 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
Weirdly enough I JUST reborrowed it from my dad. It's a quick read, lemme read the bits I never got to finish last time I had it, and I'll pass it over.

I was also like "...Sarah that sure is Ben. OH I see."

\o/ Sweet deals!

Heh. Ben likes to creep around everywhere ;D

SPEAKING OF WHICH:

There is a character named Ben in the book I'm reading. Who has the only pair of glasses in this group of people in a remote area. Who is helping the "others" steal children.

Mwhahahaha! Point proven.
