I remember my second: 9-11. My mom got me up for school and was on the phone and watching TV, pacing through the living room. I asked her what had happened and she told me a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center, whatever that was. I promptly asked her: "Can I stay home from school?" Yes, it was the Calvin inside of me, but I also thought it was an accident so I wasn't worried or anything. Actually, I never was worried, even when I found out what really happened later on.
