So a bit late, but 4th of July was...:/

Fireworks are possibly one of my favorite things to see in the world, and it rained. All day. And we had home fireworks that we put off despite the rain but....those are like...grocery store sushi compared to...sushi prepared 5 feet from the docks in Tokyo. There better be docks in Tokyo, and the Sushi near them better be good.

But I had good company, so that made it a bit better. Still, my inner sometimes outer pyro wants to cry a lota little.

And life has been crazy busy and frustrating as hell, but like...there have been bright points, so I am not complaining about it yet.

Ours are usually pretty good. Have you guys been particularly dry? I know sometimes they have to pull some cooler ones for fire danger.

Huh. Should have been with me and Chris. Went up to Wyoming, got about 100 M98s, and the huge mortars that explode in pretty colors and shake the ground after shooting up into the air about a football field's length. You know, the REAL fireworks.

And industrial Wyoming fireworks don't cower in the face of funnel clouds so I do have to say... One of the wettest, most fun Fourths yet.
