1. Do you snack while you read? If so, what is your favorite reading snack?
I don't make an effort to do it, however if I am alone while, say, grabbing lunch, I will eat and read.
2. What is your favorite drink while reading?
Again, I don't have a particular like...thing I aim for. I just...if I'm reading something and drinking, I read and drink.
3. Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you?
Generally I don't. Although if I know Ju is going to be reading it after me, I will leave notes for her. Especially in the Dark Tower.
4. How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ear? Laying the book flat open?
I will lie the book flat open if I'm going to be getting back to it quickly (Like setting it down to grab the phone or something.) Generally I'll dog ear, unless I have a copy that's a nice hardback or something, then I'll grab a bookmark.
5. Fiction, Non-Fiction, or Both?
Generally fiction. If a non-fiction book that is interesting and well written enough come up, I will grab it.
6. Are you a person who tends to read to the end of a chapter, or can you stop anywhere?
I like reading to a stopping point best, but I also can stop anywhere else.
7. Are you a person to throw a book across the room or on the floor if the author irritates you?
I've only done that once, with the last volume of Paradise Kiss. Which is sorta ironic, now, as I love that ending.
8. If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop and look it up right away?
Usually I just put it together from context. If I really can't, then I'll do my best to figure it out.
9. What are you currently reading?
Black House by Stephen King and Peter Straube, From a Buick 8 by Stephen King, and Stiff by...I forgot who. And Black Orchid by Neil Gaiman and Dave Mckean.
10. What is the last book you bought?
"Why is that art?". For school.
11. Are you a person that reads one book at a time, or can you read more than one?
Usually I have different books for different...things. Like...a bath book, and a school book, and a bag books, and a bedroom book...that I leave in those places and work on when I'm there.
12. Do you have a favorite time/place to read?
In the bath. Sometimes I bathe just to read.
13. Do you prefer series books or stand-alones?
Generally Standalone, but good series are also good.
14. Is there a specific book or author you find yourself recommending over and over?
Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, Francesca Lia Block.
15. How do you organize your books? By genre, title, author's last name, etc?
Uhmm....size? I try to keep series together. And sometimes authors...but sometime snot.
