Attention local friends list, especially parents: I am learning how to do face painting, and need to expand my supplies. If anyone is interested, I am willing to work a few parties for free, in exchange for someone buying me my supplies. When I'm fully prepared I'll be working at around $75-$100 an hour, but for this situation, I'll work an hour for every $50 paid towards my starting kit.

As a kit is around $250-$300 you could have 6 hours of face painting, split up through various events, OR if you have some friends you'd wanna split this with/multiple people reply, we can just do a like "You pay $50, you buy an hour of my life." However, I HAVE to reach that amount or...I don't have supplies (I.E. If you only have $50, and no one else replies/no friends to go in with...I can't do it because I won't have supplies) I also may be advertising this else where, so let me know if you're interested, even if you don't see other replies.

I'm looking to get one of the nicer kits from here, as I've worked with this paint, and it's pretty good.

Wow I wish I had something requiring facepainting! That's so amazing. You know, 2 Nov. is Day of the Dead--these examples look like they'd fit right in with the holiday.

Yeah, we were actually going to a museum display for it, which was what inspired the design. I have a Kabuki face too, I just need to hunt down the pictures.

Let's talk again next semester. My mom works at an afterschool program and I'm trying to get her job. Not sure if the compensation would be enough to fund a road trip, but they have money and lots of kids. Remind me.
