First because I need to get the ANGER OVER STUPID OUT:
Dear you,
E-mailing artist and asking for permission=/=GETTING PERMISSION. I'm all for free art, but there's a line between "enjoying art" and "abusing art" and profiting from it without permission? WAY CROSSES THAT LINE. Using fanart to make (crappy) T-shirts and sayin g "While I asked permission it's not my fault they didn't reply".
No. Just no. The logic fail...just...GAH. THIS IS WHY I STOPPED HANGING OUT WITH YOU IN HIGH SCHOOL! If I ever see any of MY art involved in your shitty merchandise there WILL BE ISSUES.
And no I will NOT buy from you to support your shitty bootleg anime store. I actually LIKE anime and wanna support it, kthnx.
Me
...:D
Other then tardlet up there, the con was AMAZING. My inner artist's ego is so petted right now from people being like "OMG AWESOME." SO many cool, wonderful beautiful people we meet and hung out with. I married some cute little Inu Yasha (...son't ask), and generally had a blast. Cake the Ninja Lilo was great, saw Davidm, hung out with Ryan, Min and Tim, and just...gah cool. We're making candy ninja chibwee's net year because he's apperantly Metro area con mascot XD
Made about $900. The same as NDK at a con half it's size. The potential for NDK is amazing if we keep building up like this :D
Yaoi panel went so so. Much smaller then NDK, and I was so not prepared cause I had to take over for Bev. Mary Sue panel was...eh. But got good feedback again from Yaoi, and talked to Jan Scott Frazier about combining forces.
Collest con moment in a con full of cool moments IDK if cool is the right word, but...IDK a better one. The coolest thing (Even above Kyle Herbert, tho he was awesome sauce) was there was a fem-Light and L, and we offered the Light (As she was trying to purchase all our Light merchandise) a Sexy No Jutsu Light badge, and made it and it was snazzy. The L saw it and wanted one, but this was latre saturday, and they were going to be gone Sunday, so Ju said she wasn't sure we could make it. They were sweeties so I offered to push it to the front and make it real quick for her, with a little warning it might look a touch rushed. So bev hunted her down to find her.
She started crying she was so thankful. A friend of their's had gotten into a car accident and was in a coma, and that's why they were rushing home, and just....having someone do that for her meant a lot I guess, and IDK. I've never been happier to be an artist then giving her that badge.
And...I got cow ears. And commissioned for a lot of Poke-girl yuri. (Even I found it cute when done)
