Guys, if you're not going to repost something? Don't repost it. Obviously I think it's worth taking the 5 second to repost (And the two seconds to roll past if you've already seen it). You don't.
But taking the 2 minutes or whatever to type up a comment defending yourself against the reposting of it...isn't exactly going to make me think better of you not reposting it. In fact, worse (by, please remember, by very small leaps and bounds. I would compares this to someone liking a band you don't, not someone killing your dog). You see it as some meme, I don't (or, well, I don't see it as on the level of "Do you like coke or pepsi better?" memes).
I know none of you are homophobic assholes, or horrible people, or else you wouldn't be on my friends list, you don't need to defended that. I don't exactly see the point of defending yourself because I think my post made it pretty obvious I think you should. It's your choice whether you agree.
If you don't...*shurg* you don't. I'm not gonna hunt down or defriend you, or think less of you, I know why people don't repost, it just makes me sad that they don't, because I think it's more important then those reasons. I think a fluff anti-homophobe thing is just as important as a fluff amusing Screen cap or a fluff anecdote (And yeah, in the end it won't change the world, but likely neither will either of those) If you don't repost, you don't. It's your space.
(A few might have worried I was going to blow up like last time, but that was very much aimed at a specific person who was a homophobe and reposted every bit of glurge that came through, whom I was trying to call out. Because she did every meme ever, and I was tired of her BS. But only a few of you were on my f-list then. And she was too dumb to get it anyway.)
And I'm disabling comments, because this was just an easier way to reply to the people that commented then going through one by one, because I'm not really looking for a discussion. My mind won't be changed, I doubt anyone elses will, and it's not a big enough deal to cause bent noses on things that don't matter in the long run, and aren't a huge deal (But could easily slip into the realms of becoming a huge deal over something that's not) If you REALLY feel there's more that need to be said, you can reply there. (I wouldn't have even responded, but that seemed like more a recipe for people thinking I was pissed cause I was ignoring 'em)
