Okay, someone, even a rock star bleeding on you is so yuck and unhealthy it just...gah. I've had like 4 hours of classes in my training that amounted pretty much to "OMG DON'T TOUCH BLOOD!"
Even assuming said blood letting person doesn't know he has a disease and just doesn't care, which is a pretty big assumption (not even maliciously, a lot of people, even intelligent people, simply DON'T know how easily disease can pass through blood. Apperantly.) there's also all the possibilities of said bleeder not realizing he has a disease, or not realizing it's passable through blood, or that it's dormant in him...and just...way to many "Maybes" to be doing something that dangerous with. A lot of people seem to think a little blood won't do anything...because, you know, cells aren't tiny little things that can be contained by the thousands in one drop of blood :/
It's not a matter of "That's gross" it's a matter of "That's fuckin dangerous."

It's a huge major health risk. Like...insanely huge. I spent hours being trained on how NOT to touch people's blood. Even someone who thinks they're healthy isn't necessarily, especially someone in a life like that, they can't always take the precautions we might.
I'm sure every time they're exposed to a possible disease they don't rush out and get tested for it. And I'm not talking AIDS here, I'm sure he's not stupid enough to do that if he had AIDS. If that blood got into my friend eye...bam, she's exposed to every disease he has, and if he had any version of Hep, there is no doubt she's have it cause it's so damned contagious through blood. It's not like someone need to be a freak of nature to have something to spread, and Kyo isn't exactly normal and reserved...
