Okay, someone, even a rock star bleeding on you is so yuck and unhealthy it just...gah. I've had like 4 hours of classes in my training that amounted pretty much to "OMG DON'T TOUCH BLOOD!"

Even assuming said blood letting person doesn't know he has a disease and just doesn't care, which is a pretty big assumption (not even maliciously, a lot of people, even intelligent people, simply DON'T know how easily disease can pass through blood. Apperantly.) there's also all the possibilities of said bleeder not realizing he has a disease, or not realizing it's passable through blood, or that it's dormant in him...and just...way to many "Maybes" to be doing something that dangerous with. A lot of people seem to think a little blood won't do anything...because, you know, cells aren't tiny little things that can be contained by the thousands in one drop of blood :/

It's not a matter of "That's gross" it's a matter of "That's fuckin dangerous."

...this isn't meant to be a rant journal. Sorry it has been so far...

Yeah, can't wait for that part of my pharmacy trainng.[/sarcasm]

I know it's required for anyone in the medical field, but it's all stuff we've known since Sex Ed in fourth grade and every year after that. I mean, I like blood, but not in real life. In real life, I'm damned paranoid about being bled on. O_o

Yeah, it's so common sense, I thought...and my training to was pretty mcuh "OMG It's better to kill yourself then touch human blood cause then at least you know you won't be dying horribly and painfully!!!!"

Not quiet, but...

Exactly. It's all stuff we know. O-o Well, okay, it's the stuff our teacher's have been stuffing into our minds since an early age, with an added extra on the new stuff and the more detailed stuff that grade school teachers can't provide.

It's the general idea.
