Tooth gone. Way less tramatic then anticipated. Plus the doctor was very good at mellowing me.

Chomping down on all this gauze thought is giving me an epiiiiic headache. And I can't have soda for 24 hours D: addict

BUT I think i'll be fine tonight. Maybe just a touch grumpy.

It's because the carbonation in soda could tear things open and make you bleed again. (At least that's what they told me when I got my wisdom teeth out...)

I am obscurely reminded of the classic programmers' Halloween costume here (Mountain Dew or coffee or No-Doze in an IV bag). Only I suppose intravenous soda (in addition to being a phenomenally bad idea) would miss the point of tasting it? ^_^

Anyway, glad to hear it's all dealt with! I got good doc news today too, so here's two of us doing the we-survived toast...
