This is why I love my dad. I am on a paranormal mailing list that I generally ignore, but the guy had sent out a letter about the Muslims making themselves human shields for Christians.

And some asshole replied (And replied to everyone on the mailing list):

??? If they were coming together, I would totally agree with you, Don...but it simply isn't true. Christians have been slaughtered in several muslin countries, and there is the pending case of the Christian women in Pakistan who offered water to muslim women and for this was sen tensed to death.

If you have not heard of the women, you probably saw the news on the Minister who was killed by his own security guard. The reason for his murder was his statement that the women's sen tense should be reduced.

Islam is the only major religion whose tenants include the murder of those who do not believe.

Granted, there are many incidents of unwarranted violence committed by, not only Muslims, but by many others of many other faiths, and even those of no declared faith. The events you mention were carried out by individuals who have twisted the meaning of their faith into something most of us abhor. That does not condemn all Muslims to the same portrayal. The world has had more than enough of this kind of thinking.

There is a metaphysical law that states that what you give attention to, you give power to. Would you prefer that we all focus on the evil that men do to each other, and thus strengthen and perpetuate it? Or would you prefer to acknowledge acts of strength through loving kindness? I prefer the latter, rather than the former. If enough of us do it, the world will be a better place and we can heal, not only those who have suffered, but also those who would inflict suffering.

I went to see the Guardian's of Galklsdjfdsj Owl movie of pretty with my dad. Holy fuck it was pretty.

And on theway there I had my dad listen to Complete History Of The Soviet Union, Arranged To The Melody Of Tetris, which if you haven't seen, you probably should. And after he dropped me off, about 20 minutes later, he called me all excited and waslike "LISTEN TO WHAT'S ON THE RADIO!"

And the proceeded to hold his cell phone to the radio, which provided about the audio quality you would expect. Which left me going "...cool?"

And then he came back and was like "It's the tetris song!:D"

~~I just surmised the :D from sound quality. I have no concret proof of that~~

It was cute.

But I also chipped a tooth. On popcorn.

This is sure going to fuel more "My teeth are crumbling when I bite into soft foods." nightmares.

My dad is giving me the $1000 I gave him from my bonds when he was in such a pinch and paying me the back child support for the three years he was unemployed.

$300 a month. For the next 3 years. Which will get me through, or very close to through school.

Finally a fucking BREAK.

I wanna do something special but IDK what.

I'm trying to decided if I should pay off my credit card (Pro's: Will get that to stop icruing intrest, will be how I pay for the trip next June/July to california, which could be HUGE for faeX) OR buy a scooter (Pros: Less gas use, and no parking fee cause people just park them over Cheery Creek at school)

So we had a tire blow out coming back from the hot springs. Like...2 inch hole in the tire "HOMG what is that grinding sound homg we're driving on the rim."

Called my dad to help. He came and stood with us as a a very awesome tow truck guy came and changed the tire.

Then I called my mom in California and thanked her for all the times SHE changed the tire.

Also, I love the new Millenium is more amusing then I was expecting. But also remind me how DUMB people can be.

Cause some dude was like "I don't get it...weren't blue steel and magnum the same look?"

No. You do not in fact get it.
