My dad is giving me the $1000 I gave him from my bonds when he was in such a pinch and paying me the back child support for the three years he was unemployed.

$300 a month. For the next 3 years. Which will get me through, or very close to through school.

Finally a fucking BREAK.

I wanna do something special but IDK what.

I'm trying to decided if I should pay off my credit card (Pro's: Will get that to stop icruing intrest, will be how I pay for the trip next June/July to california, which could be HUGE for faeX) OR buy a scooter (Pros: Less gas use, and no parking fee cause people just park them over Cheery Creek at school)

will your dad acually do this? i now he's had some employmeny issues in the past. i don't want you to get your hopes up for something that couldp possibly flake out in a few months. the worst thing is planning something around someone else who you care about and having them have to pull back for whatever reason.

I'd say pay off your credit cards, though. Interest loads up, but if you don't pay them all off when you should it can affect your credit can't it? It's best to take care of the credit cards first. -nods-

Yeah, that's what I decided to go with. Plus, if I'm getting $300 a month afterwards, scooters are only $1000 for the basic and me and bev are gonna split the price when she gets her raise in October, so it actually won't be a huge stretch then to make up my part. I might even be able to put it ON said credit card.

It will help your credit scores, it will cut your monthly expenses, and lower your stress level a LOT. Trust me on this.

Yeah that's what I decided to do (althougth the bill is only $10-$20 a month), because I have a tooth that needs gone and can use the excess for that and some school supplies/clothes (although school has been kind with books/supplies thus far)

That is AMAZING. I'm glad your dad is making up for that lost time... that's a very honorable thing to do.

PAY OFF THE CREDIT CARD or at least most of it. That reduces SO MUCH STRESS. Which will make you a happier person, which will score you a 50$ an hour job, which will then buy you LOTS of scooters.
