PWP=/=Death fics. The two are, in fact, mutually exclusive concepts.

You should not leave shit unresolved. That makes you an asshole. The end. (And I don't mean "Wait for next chapter" unresolved but like "And he left a note and ran off in the night, lol the end.")

That's not an ending, that's a cop out. wtf.

Oh well, better than a fanfic I would write. I think it would be a madlib-create-your-own-useless-story like:

"main character eats word for fecal matter and dies. popular character has verb with inanimate object and verb's the noun. Congratulations, you just made a negative adjective story that person or people will wish they never past-tense verb. You word for failure."

At least, that's how I see all fanfic.

I actually rather like PWP that ends in death.

I suppose if it's a guro fic, but generally death=plot. Negating the lack of plot.

I feel like death generally equals some kind of plot, negating the PWP label (Like...I don't hate fics where people die. But i do think that negates the "what plot?/without plot" bit of PWP.)
