Ok. So. Front row, DEAD CENTER. RIGHT in front of Alex Kapranos. So he sang to us like...half the concert. And managed to somehow know all my favorite lines because every line I love in a Franz Ferdinand song sans one was sang directly to me. Including the whole chores of "Do you wanna" with sexy smirk, head jerk, and eyebrow arching. And Dark of the Matinees, and Dart of Pleasure and No you girls and KJUFGOYHGCXSLOIDXF(O%^DW*^%DEW)*^CW%EZATOY And they played EVERY song I wanted to hear sans one, and like...even ones I was kinda "Meh" about (Like the techno-y instrumental on Tonight) were fucking awesome.

And they were walking back and forth pre-concert, so Ju went and begged the guy at the music store for the (one) poster they had up for the concert, and we started getting that signed. And then me and Ju caught a drum stick. And then we waited for the band afterwords and hung out with them and got all our stuff signed by everyone but Nick (Who had a broken/sprained/injured foot situation) They were all very sweet, and Scottish and I'm pretty much in love with Alex Kapranos and want to bear his children.

Although I've found, despite HIM being like...150% chill with Slash fan-fic of them, I myself can't deal with it without blushing a lot. At least not right now)

I also got Coraline, which I'm waiting till after the movie to read, The Graveyard Book and Smoke and Mirrors. Those three, and Anazi Boys, which I should get my hands on soon, and I should have read all of Neil Gaiman's BOOKS within a month or so. \o/

I'm considering redrawing this Like...it's...I can see so many mistake in it, and I also can't like...the original of that is gone. So it's by far my most favorited picture/most viewed but like...I can't make prints of it.

( Nose piercing and some other old ones. Warning, extreme cleavage. And no, IDK what the hell is going on with the Ozma one but it amuses the shit outta me )

So the con was very different then I expected. So incredibly small, and consuites at small cons are GOD. I understand why they don't have em at like Star Fest, NDK (Or god forbid AX) but it was my savior. Free Soda the whole con? Fuck yeah.

On that note, I'm giving up soda. I need to lose about 20 pounds or so. My clothes are not fitting anymore D: And my mom is the least helpful dieting person ever.

Anyway, the con was cool, but teeny. Got some books, some jewelry, got our portfolio reviewed by a famous space painter who ADORED IT, and got it passed around the whole dealers room by Lisa, most of which adored it, and told us we were dumb for not being in the show. We're gonna work on some more original stuff, less fanart (Like a kitsune mama with a liter :D), and I found out you can send art out to sci-fi/fantasy cons, you don't have to attend :D

AND some lady grabbed me and told me I looked like Ozma :DDDD

ALSO~ We made friends (And awesome networking buddies) with Lisa and she's amazing. We're gonna help her with her corsets for free merchandise (These'll make our femme Akatsuki's pwn) and we also get to learn HOW to make corsets, AND she does the same con circuit as us, so we can start going together and splitting prices, and cross advertise for each other. We're gonna help her design more that'd be more oriented to anime fandoms (I have some Naruto ones in mind, some WOW, and one Leloch/Kamui styles)

I love bartering.

AND I made a new Tsunade necklace to replace my lost one and I LOVE it, it looks so much more like a real necklace like that would look then my last (And the "balls" are tiny coins):
