Dec. 1st, 2008 07:10 pmThis is a RIDICULOUSLY good blog about defending, in this case, Lolicon, but in a wider context all "questionable things" under the first amendment that Neil Gaiman posted today. It's really insightful and obviously talks from much experiences as someone who's lived in both a place with and without the Right to Free Speech, and as someone who's had his stuff banned.
If you're into comics, or fiction, or whatever, even if you don't dig Lolicon (hi.), this is a really good read.I'm reproducing it here, but you can find the original here
( The question, for me, is even if we only save ONE child from rape or attempted rape, or even just lots of uncomfortable hugs from Creepy Uncle Dave, is that not worth leaving a couple naked bodies out of a comic? )
