In other school news...I ordered my Art History book in August.

It still hasn't gotten here. Amazon says they have till the 22nd.

And in this class you can't do shit without the book. The teacher doesn't even give us a study guide. Her suggestion was to "borror the book and copy it off." which, to give you an idea...we have covered half of a roughly 700 page text book.

Yeah, not gonna happen.

I checked into checking it out from BOTH the Auraria Library, AND DPL. Neither had it available. I did get a bit of a study guide together, but I also have some intense back up plan in case I get fucked on this test. (I wouldn't worry too much BUT my lack of book has also meant lack of being able to do ANY assignments)

AND EVERYTHING CAME DUE THIS WEEK WTF.

But after Tuesday I should be able to chill the hell out.

HOMG GUISE I'M BACK! :D

Made $2000! My panel went like...3 hours or something! (Started at 11, went till 2:30 am) Got LOTS of pictures taken and was ttly flattered by the fansview guy (specially considering he photos like SO many people)! Am hitting up AX as an artist for sure! Uhm! Had fun! Saw many of my lovies! Will probably post more later but here's the pics I got (my camera is failing)

So me and my mom were discussing...well first we were discussing musical role made for big people going to not big people (Particularly Ursula in Broadway's Little Mermaid being skinny and rather sucking).

Which got us talking about the whole issue of people acting like any variation of Asian is swappable for any other in movies, and were talking about Rain in Speed Racer.

Mom: Well, they could have gotten some one from Japan....like that pink haired guy.
Me: ...huh?
Mom: Like...the musician you're always showing me...the pink haired guy!
Me: ...*Confused cause I never really talk about J-music, not being into it* Gackt?
Mom: Yeah him!
Me: ....but he doesn't have pink hair.
Mom: Really?
Me: ...mom are you talking about Shuichi?
Mom: Yeah! That sounds more right.

*headdesk*

So apparently my mom thinks they should have cast Shuichi in Speed Racer. IDK how they'd manage that. ~~Thank god XP~~
